£100m spent and 4 losses to show for it. Should they cut their losses Pellegrini(sp)? I say yes, and they should try to get Zidane.

The Wilshere effect. LOLZ.

I can't stand the arrogance around West Ham. I'd love them to go down, and love them to go on a much longer losing streak.

This is how West Ham's official website described his appointment:

West Ham United appointed one of the finest managerial minds in Premier League history in Manuel Pellegrini in May 2018.

Hahahahahaha! Fuck me.

While it’s early for many games should any manager be allowed to lose on the bounce before he gets the boot?

Obviously four is too few, 6? 8? 10?

The PL record is 7. However I doubt Pellegrini will be sacked before Xmas at the earliest. Assuming West Ham continue to struggle, I don't think they will, I expect them to pick and finish mid-table (many commentators / media were picking them for Top 8 pre-season).

I'm not sure, Froggy. They've signed some skill but have a VERY soft underbelly in central midfield and their defence is suffering for lack of protection.

Yeah, they seem to have forgotten that someone in your midfield needs to be able to actually run, and be capable of protecting the defence. I'd also argue that they could have done with a bit of that cash spent on the defence.

True. I don't think they're exactly favourites to go down (Huddersfield and Cardiff would be my picks there) but at this stage they look to me to be in the running for the last relegation place.

I've never been a massive fan of Pellegrini to say the least, but I didn't expect them to look this awful so early, and with such consistency.

MOTD and a few others analysed workrate, running and closing down of space - or rather, the complete lack of any of those - in their opening four games, and it was appalling

Wasn't de Boer binned after 4 last season?

My son is a Hammers fan, He has stuck with them. He was born in 1972 in East London so it is his home team.
I was in a pub with him when Gerrard scored that goal did not know if I should hug or jump up and down, I chose the latter.

Gotta admire his loyalty. I made a similar choice the other way around - my dad was a Gooner but I was born in Liverpool, so it was LFC for me. We were still in what's now the Championship at the time, so that shows you how old I am. 🙂
