Gravenberch

I don't get it, they bought him for 18 mill euro + 5 mill in bonuses.
And he's been average/poor at Bayern.
Now he's worth 30 mill?
How does that work?
He isn’t - but to get a deal done the “chain” needs to work so we are effectively helping BM get Palhihha for us to land Gravenberch.

Because assuming the reports are true, we’d be willing to pay it.

Same way Bournemouth were prepared to pay 19m for Solanke after scoring 1 goal when we paid 3-4m for him

Lol at Mudryk

Sky saying Palhinha wants to move to BM but Fulham want about £70M and BM are offering just over £50M.

Yup, we seemingly enquired didn’t we and it was too much for us. Bayern seem to cut their cloth similarly…

If it was £50m we probably would’ve went for him instead of endo

Given BM paid 110m for a 30 year old Kane who could walk on a free in 9 months (or be signed for roughly 40 in 4 months)…It’s likely Fulham will hold firm on this one.

Let’s hope it doesn’t hold the Grav deal up…

From Sky

Fulham unwilling to sell Palhinha despite Bayern interest

Bayern Munich want to sign Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha.
However, no formal offer has yet been made – and Fulham are not welcoming one.
Fulham have no intention of selling the Portugal international, especially this late in the window as it would leave little time to bring in a replacement

Not sure why Bayern need to replace him given that he has played a total of 9 mins so far this season.

When was the last transfer deadline day when something big happened for us?

I remember Andy Carroll and Torres was pretty much last day. Most transfer deadline days are quiet with just a few loans

A bit of a google and I find:

Albert Riera (2008)
Paul Konchesky (2010)
Craig Bellamy (2011)
Mamadou Sakho (2013)
Tiago Iloiri (2013)
Victor Moses (loan, 2013)
Oxlade-Chamberlain (2017)

All summer windows - Andy Carroll was winter one (2011)
