Fulham Pre-Match

When I visited Liverpool (in the summer) as a tourist I took a bus from the City Centre (Queens Square) early in the morning. I had only a very rough idea of where Anfield was and no map or directions other than the bus number I skimmed off the net (LFC website actually come to think of it).

Intuitively I got off at Walton Road but walked off in the wrong direction through Walton until I found myself at the gates of the Anfield cemetery. Finally got my bearings right then went back down and found Goodison Park before I figured if I'd just walk round the perimeter of Stanley Park I'd eventually reach Anfield, which I did.

Whole journey took me almost 90 min. (Though I did take in the sights)

I know it was mostly me being a complete and utter dimwit (and refusing to ask any locals in case since it would feed into the complete OOT image esp in Everton territory) but I have to say it isn't easy to get to at all. I can imagine the bus must be crowded on match days.

The Soccer Bus and regular routes quite well explained, almost OOTer proof.

Mitrologlu wont be fit for the game tomorrow, confirmed by Fulham.

Oh, how they wanted to postpone this match. I hope we fucking batter them, and then they get relegated.

Ah. I was there during the summer though. No game, no bus. Just doing the stadium tour and all.
Just wondering, do away fans take the bus as well?

I've seen away fans on the bus when I've been on it.

I don't want Fulham to go down cos they're shite

I don't want them to go down as I'll miss my free ticket there every season. The friendliest home fans for an away fan to sit with. Never any grief any when 3-0 in ten mins a few years ago. Mainly suits and tourists where I sit.

They don't have any actual fans, that's why.

Haha.

I've never met a fulham fan in my life. Pretty sure they don't actually exist
Haha, one of my old local pubs (the one which let me drink on a Friday night at age 16) was run by two Fulham fans, thoroughly decent people. They're the only two I can remember meeting though.

I think they're the only ground I've been too with an advertised "neutral" stand which merges straight into the away stand. Also, at HT if you come out of the away section you can be in a queue for the bar with people from the home stands..

I don't understand why Fulham are so desperate to postpone. They rested a lot of their starters anyway against Man Yoo didn't they? I guess it's good news that we are starting to be feared again in the league.
