seeing him step up and score that penno made me realise just how much we need to win the league while he's in the team, I had pretty much given up and accepted that he'd retire before it happened but for the first time I really believe we can do it, maybe not this year but I know i'll be able to see stevie lifting the premiership trophie and it will be fucking immense

I used to hate seeing gerrard stepping up for a penalty. Now, there's not a player in the league i'd rather on a pressure spot kick like that. Huge win. I don't think i've felt like that since el judas scored a late winner at portsmouth in a similar game in 2009.
