Spurs beaten. Arse beaten.
Probably caused by the fact that they were left out. Wish the starters could show the same hunger. Its hard to say really, the only thing you can guarantee from this collection of players is inconsistency. And its hard to leave out Coutinho and Sturridge. But yeah, its got a lot more fight in this side.
Spurs beaten. Arse beaten.
Fucking Watford
I hope Firmino proves me wrong tonight and displays clear evidence that he isn't really average, one-paced and hugely overpriced and overrated.
You'll regret that Kolorov.
Heh.
Anyway, I think you're harsh on him, or you've gone early, or both.
He's got ability, and in parts has looked like a world-beater. Don't think it's helped that a) we're shite, b) he's been shifted around ain a few positions - 9, 10 and 11, c) he's had to play up top with Benteskey for most of the year, and d) he'd never played in the hustle n rustle n bustle of the premier league before this year.
I'm not worried about the lack of pace; Silva's got no pace, Rooney the same, Coutinho's not that quick, Ozil, etc and so on. He can score goals, he's done it against some decent sides, and he's shown flashes. I'd be persisting with him for a bit yet - we could have a player there.
So... Is Lallana a guaranteed starter for anyone else yet?
It's the lack of consistency that I find most infuriating. Although he isn't alone there
