I don't think he'd be anywhere near as good anywhere else. He knows the club and the Liverpool way better than anyone and is loved by everyone, he wouldn't have that in other clubs.

Not sure about the Guardiola comparison, as it's not been tested yet. Kenny won the league at Blackburn, so obviously it wasn't *just* the Liverpool connection that made him a great manager. But I was talking about NOW, rather than in the past.

It just feels like some kind of alchemy has happened - he's made the club great, and the club has made him great.

Oh I didn't mean he couldn't do a great job elsewhere too, he most certainly could. Or Pep either, just that it would be a lot more difficult for them elsewhere as they would be just like any other manager and not the divine creatures they currently are in their respective clubs.

[/quote]Yeah man, im happy to say i got on the dirk bandwagon and have never wavered since. I still say hes awful at rm in a 442 though.
The four players i realised i was wrong with were Lucas, Alonso, Kuyt and Yossi. All of whom are superb and at one time i thought they werent good enough. Quite vocally obv.
I dont mind being wrong though, im honest and passionate and thats all i care about.
