Some of our players are in trouble.
Some of our players have been out of their depth and now it will be shown and he will bin them. I like the fact he has a strategy and vision. I don't think Brendan did. I'm not having a dig at Brendan, just that I think Jurgen's charisma is just the tonic we need.

I agree that Jurgen's just what we need but I think Rodgers did have a vision. It's just that it changed a lot, and I don't think he quite had the belief/courage to stick to his original vision when things went awry.

I'd go with that. It appears that he didn't have the courage of his convictions. But poor results will do that to a football manager. I'll always love that 2013/14 season so I can overlook some of his failures.

He is such an arselicker he even takes on the same accent as the manager.

I guess that is how he survived for so long.

Yes he had a lousy Norn Iron accent for a while; hence the lack of playing time. Definitely, a managers player. Brings an apple to the manager at training every day.

He had a vision (death by football), then he won lots of games by figuring out a departure from that vision (aggressive counterattacking play) that best used the players we had, then he lost those players, but kept to that new system of play. Then he reverted to the original vision, precisely when he should have been more pragmatic. Then when that didn't work, and he didn't have the players, he completely lost it. He tried keeping things tight, he even tried hoofball.
