For those saying that Kenny deserves another year

OK - i'm not dissing you, just the general impatient attitude, I hope I am right to give him my trust and I know you hope that too, even if you dont believe it. We're on the same side
We both hope you're right. Believe me.

What's Kenny going to say to the owners at the end of the season?

We've been playing overly cautious (and suffering as a result of it) because I don't really trust some of the players we spent millions on last summer. But if I could just ship a few of them at a huge loss, instead of giving them the time and patience to produce the goods in exact same manner I would like to be given, and you give me some more money, I'll bring in much better players and then you'll see the real Liverpool.

This team hasn't got a fucking clue what it is doing. They set up for the first corner against them today and before it was taken all started running off in different directions. It was like watching a school team. Nothing came of it but it left me wondering if the management have already given up, like the players seem to have. It was an insult to anyone in the ground. I don't say sack him but I would understand if they did.

Today I had to fight the urge to stand up and walk out when we made our first subs. Yes they were attacking subs, but... Jesus... I can't get my head round them. Last time I felt like getting up and walking away from watching us was when benitez took Lucas off and brought Spearing on when we were losing against Portsmouth.

There are enough people who have been around to see it all who have serious doubts about Kenny.

This Sky fan shit is fucking tired and hugely ironic given that those who dish it out tend to be preaching respect whilst being massively disrespectful with absurd and ignorant sweeping generalizations.

If you were born in the mid 80s or after you're not allowed an opinion ken

As any fule know

Jesus, we can't go on like this. Anyone other than Kenny in charge this season and his position would already be untenable, simple as that.

Those arguments wouldn't' hold water.
How can you not trust the players YOU wanted?
Why should we trust you to bring in much better players, considering?

The site is in turmoil from top to bottom, with posters not having a clue to what to do.

I was born in 1970, started going to the game regularly from '83 and I have doubts about Kenny. I did have when he was first appointed manager.

*Removes hamburger from microwave*

I might start a group who aren't happy with kenny called the Rustlers, in honour of the microwavable hamburgers

People who want Kenny to manage us for another year are using it as an argument. Just read a few threads on RAWK.
They're not looking at the facts, it's purely because it's Kenny and they stand by it.
It's an honourable stance I must admit but borderline delusional.

Agree entirely. As for Gerrard, he can fuck right off, the sulky twat. Watched him closely throughout, his body language and demeanor was appalling and that of a man who's given up.

Don't give a shit if he has to faith in the management and/or the players around him, as the captain, surely it's his responsibility to inspire and lead those around him.

On the flip side, Rome wasn't built in a day.

'fuck right off'????

I agree that the subs were a bit confusing today, but I'm still behind Kenny. I just can't believe a team with that much potential talent can play week-in, week-out and it's solely due to the manager. I can't.

Maybe Carroll's attitude should have been dealt with in a better manner (although I don't understand why he isn't played more consistently after good outings), Suarez's whole Evra scandal could have been dealt with in a way better fitting the club, and I believe JC should be sitting on the bench while the future (Coates) gets a chance to cut his teeth. However, I just can't see the rest of the team, who played incredibly well in a squad post-Hodgson second half of last year, giving up like they have because of Kenny and his managing style.

Instead, I think it's a combination of:

1) Injuries and suspensions (Gerrard, Agger, Lucas, Suarez, etc.).

2) Luck (hitting the post more times than any other club (bar Man City) and missing countless penalties (is this our worst year for taking them?)).

3) Players playing below expectations or being held against the ridiculous values that were paid for them (Downing wasn't expected to be this god awful for so long - and Adam is just a waste, Henderson and Carroll fit here for their transfer values... and yes, I still think Carroll will come good... it's just hard to watch him some days).

Sorry - I just don't buy it.

Any manager would have struggled with odds as unsurmountable as these. Not to mention a big F-you from the universe with the number of unlucky calls, posts being hit and keepers who on game day become the embodiment of Iker Casillas.

You guys can lambaste me for my points, but I still think he deserves a season to prove what he can do.

I will believe. I'd rather have faith that it will be ok than be so upset like it's been in Rafa's last year, Budgie's first few months and the past few months. Fuck that, I can't wait for next season ... Hazard, Eriksen ... 😉

So if he wins 2 cups, and finishes 7th - should we fire him? If next year, Alan Pardew (or another manager) gets us to 5th place with no silverware, should we fire him too he looks more 'in tune'?

Hitting the post isn't down to bad luck. It's down to not having the ability to put the ball where it should go, between the posts.

I agree that some of the shots that hit the post are down to poor form, but I don't believe ourselves (and City) can explain them all that easily.

A man who has done what KD has done for us gets my support anytime. He is all this club stands for. Best man ever and he Will correct the things that need to be corrected. If it is the manager that need to be corrected he Will correct that as well... He has done that before. And of people look slightly behind results it is obvious we have been hard done by this season... A new manager gives a fresh start? What if he looses some games, should a new manager again make a fresh start?

I can. Obviously, you have a low vocabulary and can't really provide constructive criticisms without resorting to abusive language.

Football's a very emotional game.
I just hating seeing players going through the motions and looking like they'd rather be sat at home with their feet up.
It's hard to accept.

He hasn't corrected playing one up front at home. He hasn't corrected the weird decision to take off Downing (arguably our best crosser after Stevie) every time he brings Carroll on.

I don't agree every move he makes either. But i support him till one of us die anyway....
