Ok, 45 minutes in the books. A bit meh but we still have other gears to find. Naby has played well overall and our back four have been untroubled, besides the injury.
 
It's so difficult to evaluate. We've had a lot of games like this, but it seems way less eventful when there's no crowd.

I wish firmino had rolled that one chance along to mane.

I think if this keeps going this way for another 45 we will find a goal though as we find our rhythm.

The game started listlessly with both teams looking way off form (which suited Everton more, naturally), but as the half progressed our flow started coming back little by little and by the end we were in almost total control, except for the scoreline. Klopp will ask for of the same in the 2nd half, but Ancelotti will need to how to create any counter-play, because the long balls to DCL and Richarlison stopped working after 20 minutes.

On we go!
