Gotze has been pretty quiet. I know a lot of his job is to make runs off the ball to open space but I had hoped to see a bit more from him.

Kroos and Boateng have hit so many beautiful diagonal balls into feet or into space today. The switches have been effortless
Despite the terrific movement it has been a bit sterile from the Germans, without as many clear chances as one would expect.
They're conserving their energy in order to maintain it for later rounds.
