Enrique...

It's been a long while since I've seen both our full backs dominate their sides quite so effectively for us.

Got forward a lot today and was very creative with the ball where Jonny Rockets would've perhaps blasted it high and wide...

Our best signing of the summer.

Pound for pound, absolutely. Even if Cahill joins.

I was kinda worried walcott might terrorized our left flank, but the fear has gone off after 15 minutes. Another solid performance from El Toro.

Speaking of Walcott, he was terrible. I heard them say before the game it was his 200th appearance. And he's still all about "potential" rather than actual results. It's often said how would Babel have done under Wenger. We'll never know, but Walcott hasn't exactly reached the next level (yet).

Walcott's written a book and in it he slags Capello.

I reckon he can book his 2012 summer holidays now.

For all the whingers about signing Henderson and Downing, look at the price we paid for Rico and Adam...great signing.

when johnson is fit again we will have argubly the best fullbacks in the league.

I thought Kelly was fantastic today

Agree, and i've actually been quite critical of Kelly lately. I still think he struggles when a tricky winger with pace takes him on but when he's striding forward with the ball, he's very impressive. Both full backs were excellent for us today.

Walcott, writing about his wealth of experience in successful cup runs

I was actually a bit surprised that a good number didnt like him; he was very decent last year and on a good fee.

Sure, nothing's guaranteed but it was worth the risk.

I do agree with The Wizard that getting in a top CB was a bigger priority though.

Enrique has been a monster since he arrived. He had Walcott in his pocket all day .... has he given him back yet ?

Enrique was excellent, however I hate to bring this up as I don't want to subtract from Enriques performance, but Walcott is a really stupid player.

Walcott is increasingly one-dimensional but that was a splendid Enrique performance from start to finish. Very good signing he looks indeed.

Absolutely. Then again I'm quite sure we have the funds available regardless if a suitable CB is available for a reasonable price.

That might provide inspiration for Walcott's new book... Enrique's pocket horrors

I liked his lofted pass in the second half.

I'm impressed with him so far.
