Who knows, it's easy to say what we did wrong in hindsight but yes I do believe that a 4-3-3 with our best players on the pitch might have caused Arsenal some problems.
I mentioned in the match thread how our two strikers were isolated up front because they weren't getting any help from our midfield and wing backs.
Sure the game would possibly have been more open with us starting Moses on the right and having Coutinho in the middle with Lucas and Gerrard but we would definitely be able to hit Arsenal on the counter considering how many players they attack with.
Yes, but there are 3 points separating 2nd place from 8th. A couple of a iffy results and we could find ourselves in mid-table rather quickly so I wouldn't put too much stock in that right now.
Everyone bar Arsenal has been playing badly so far including us. We need to make sure that when the other teams find their feet - and they will - we're not still struggling through games. In other words, we need to see the performance level trend upwards.
Of course Keni, but it's a good launching pad for the improvements, I'm sure Rodgers is taking note - but there's no laurels to be resting on right now. 3 bad results and we are mid table.
