Interesting. I saw him play for his previous club and was quite impressed, but it doesn't seem to have worked out at Porto. Wonder why? Probably got overwhelmed with the usual "new Vieira" tag he's been lumbered with. Along with any number of other "leggy" black midfielders who play in France. But still, he's only been there a few months and they're willing to let him go already? Hmm.

Dunno, always scored plenty in Russia, even if that isn't a strong league really. Maybe he's losing his pace, given he's meant to be 28, so is probably about 35.
Thought about that one myself. Havent been any good at Roma and went back to Russia on loan and scored goals again.
Not sure about how good he is but a 6 month loan is a decent move for Newcastle.
