First time he's started 7 games in a row for god knows how long, he's looking quite the player at the moment... Are his injury days finally behind him?

Fucking loved his run from deep earlier, when Bellamy crossed it, thought it was Henderson sneaking in at the back post... but no, there was Danny Agger. Beast! Very Hansonesque.

A lot of people keep talking about Vidic and Ferdinand and how they compliment each other, I think the same can be true of our twosome. Jamie will have his work cut out to get back in the team on form.

Oh didn't see the apprciation thread, feel free to merge.

He and Skrtel have been complementing each other fantastically. Carra was poo when he came on, which doesn't strengthen his chances of ousting one of these guys.

I assumed Carra was brought on for some match fitness, given that he's likely to play one of the zillion matches we have in the Christmas period?

Surely the song "moves like jagger" is begging to be remade into a Daniel Agger chant..

There was a terrible one about Skrtel saying "He has tattoos like Agger, he has tattoos like Agger" I can see why that didnt stick!

I assume I'm in the majority (of LFC fans) in believing that IF Agger stays fit for any decent length of time he'll prove he's the best CB in Britain.

He already is Pesam, he already is

I hate to be all doom and gloom on this subject, but it's a bit early to be thinking his injury days are behind him.

The force is weak with you! That vader mask is making you pessimistic.

I agree Roland, but only if he stays fit will fans of other teams and the media appreciate how good Agger is.

Only where Agger is concerned mate.

It seems that every time we see a thread bigging him up on SCM, he promptly follows it up by getting crocked.

At least we know who to blame

Quite, if he plays 90% of the remaining games without injury, we can start talking.

I don't think anyone has ever doubted his quality though.

He can be better than Hyypia... IF he stays fit.
I thought Skrtel's goal yesterday was reminiscent of Hyypia.

fantasic header and the qulaity of the header was pretty much ignored as the pundits concentrated on villa's defense.

One can only hope he takes better care of himself. It does seem like it. Long may he stay fit.

PS This thread is VAULT material already.

Daniel Agger punches Fernando Torres CHELSEA vs LIVERPOOL 0-1 ynwa

Makes me love him so much. Legendary status was confirmed here.

So blatant. And the lineman watched it and liked it.

There's a lovely hint of a smile as he's jogging back. Beautiful.

It's my favourite Daniel Agger moment. For a few moments afterwards I experienced what it must be like to be KHL. Brilliant.

Stay fit and he'll become a club legend. I'm sure of it.

The Skag(ger) partnership is proving fruitful enough.

Enrique has been classy all season and it appears as though Glenjo is getting there.

It's all looking a bit too promising

Yep, furthermore Agger and Skrtel recently turned 27, great age for a footballer. Both in their prime.

Skrtel's been a beast.

Very few have been saying it for a while, a few more have been whispering it, but the noise is far from loud enough. Skrtel's been class for a while now and I hope we can get used to it.
yup. For some reason skrtel doesn't win over the fans like agger does

Skrtel has, and always will be, a beast

Agger had to sort himself double quick because despite the talent, his injuries made him dispensable. If he had another injury wrecked season, I'm sure he would have been sold.

Now that he's getting a run of games, his obvious quality is coming to the fore. More goals Dani Boy. Skrtel has ironed out the kinks and silly mistakes in his game and stepped up big time. He is a beast. His goal was top drawer. As a partnership they're still improving and that bodes well for us.

Lots of us were lauding Agger and Skrtel as our future and they're making it happen with aplomb. I'm excited about this partnershp and long may it continue.

12 million for the pair. Bargain. You wouldn't have gotten Gary Cahill's right boot for that amount of cash last summer.
