skrtel has sorted out his positioning, it did used to be suspect so whether that is down to concentration or better training but he has definately improved.

it's actualy hard to tell which of agger or skrtel is performng better at this moment in time, they really compliment each other so well.

That's crazy! They are, along with Johnson and Enrique, the best backfour in the league, and the stats even prove it. Its a shame the Johnson figure distorts it, because at ~35m, nearly half on Johnson, our backline is still an absolute bargain.

Perhaps the same applies to Agger. I also suspect Skrtel needs it less when playing on the side of central defence which suits him best. Playing him to the right of his CB partner, rather than to their left, has helped a lot.
 
Played well came forward with the ball well, won the free kick for the 2nd goal.

Prepared to eat crow when I insisted we should sell sell sell at the first opportunity. KHL, are you reading this? This is what it looks like to reevaluate the evidence on hand and change your mind. 🙂
 
Haha.

What a partnership they're building in the centre of defence. With Carra and Coates also in the squad, we're looking good in that area.
