Feel a bit sorry for Lucas today, he's trying to hold it together singlehandedly at times, between defense and midfield. Henderson looks out of it since that challenge early in the game, and while Allen is supporting well, he's giving the ball away constantly and getting outmuscled. I'm sure Ryan will be in later though with his chalkboard to tell us about all the great things he's done without the ball.

mate thats bread butter for a keeper with decent agility, the shot had hardly any power on it, just needed to get down and turn it away

And that sounds like something you write after watching it in slow motion during the replays.

I think it's unfair to single any of the midfielders out

They're all just pretty shite today and getting outplayed.

Sometimes I wonder if we're all watching the same game.

Skrtel has been very poor so far. His positioning has been a joke. Both goals especially the 2nd, all down to his bad positioning. How did he allow Eto to sprint past him to score, while he was man-marking him, I have no idea...

Johnson - what else is there to say ? He's been very very poor. No surprise there then.

Lucas, Lucas, Lucas - where art thou Lucas ? 'Cos I can't seem to find you on the pitch (AGAIN !!). Absolutely invisible and useless so far.

Chelsea's tactics are spot on. Luiz in midfield has stopped us from playing our pass-and-move simply cos when we have the ball, there's nobody to pass to. They are owning us in midfield, keeping things so tight and narrow. I'd be very surprised if Brodgers fail to see this. His problem however, is that he's got no player on the bench to change things.

And Sakho, wtf you doing swapping jerseys ?!? You might as well put on a chelsea shirt and play for them, you clown !

I actually think Allen has been ok. Hes breaking his bollocks to get involved. Lucas looks like hes reverted back to his cunt days. Johnson is just desperate. Really bad. Suarez needs to be better when he gets a sniff.

Mourinho going for a defensive tactical change already. Mikel in for Lampard.
Hopefully he'll regret taking the foot of the gas.

we started the season so well defensively with 3 clean sheets on the trot but since then it's only 2 in 16 while conceding 24 .Surely it has to be looked at, especially for the big games when if you can't keep a clean sheet you're in trouble . But i get the feeling it's not something high on the agenda .

Really? A front line that consists of Hazard, Oscar, Eto with goalscorers behind them like Lampard, it's a very good front line, regardless of whether it's much better, it's enough to do damage against any side. And they have players like Torres and Mata in reserve, players they've been able to rotate. We haven't been afforded that luxury of rotating in £20m-£50m players.

So which one is it then; their team is better than ours, or it's similar and it's squad size and rotation that is giving them an advantage?
