Carragher defends Dalglish

Every time a manager gets fucked off most players that had backed him come out saying that it hadn't been right and a change was due, the rest come out and full on blame the dude for fucking up their season. Do you think if Carra actually thought Dalglish was doing shit he'd say it?

who knows with carra anymore. I read the dion fanning article and what carra says is absolutely shocking.

I wouldn't play Aurelio at left back. And he's a left back. Playing him in central midfield is fucking mental.

It's not such a crazy idea. If I remember it correctly even Kenny played him in central midfield.

The game he played in, he did well in the first half and then in the second the opposition came out and kept forcing him onto his right foot and he was fucked.

I wanted to smack him yesterday for laughing and joking in the dugout while we were 2-0 down with Reina sent off. Not a worry in the world. I suppose he was looking forward to church. I know how bored they can get on the bench but I'd prefer a bit more concentration from the glass-boned poltroon.

Yeah I noticed that, I thought it was odd and pretty fucking disrespectful, and I do like Aurelio but it was just ridiculous.

Fabio in CM? Behave your fucking self. He would break at the thought of a tackle. He isnt even our 6th choice full back this year.

OK, I get what you're saying and you are making some sense but we could either try something new or continue with what we've been doing for the last few games.
I'm trying to find a way for us to have Gerrard playing further forward with Suarez ahead of him.

Would anyone offer him a coaching job? He could certainly teach a few how to cross, and strike a dead ball.

Aren't you one of those advocating putting the young players in though?

Doesn't seem a great deal of point playing a VERY injury prone player who is leaving at the end of the season, out of position. Not sure that is really the way forward.

To answer you first claim, I am. But I don't think any of our reserves are good enough to play in midfield.

I'd like to answer your second question with a question, if you don't mind.
What's the point in having someone who's clearly leaving on the bench?

Thing is I rate Aurelio and I really believe he'd do a better job than Henderson and Shelvey in midfield.
It's short term, so let him help us beat Everton. Smicer turned out to be a hero for us in Istanbul before he left.
Why not give Aurelio a chance to say farewell....again.

Fair enough, but I thought the point was now to try to build something for next season, hence the idea of playing our young players

I have no objection as it happens to using the best players available to us, I just don't think that Aurelio in midfield comes into that category. He is a talented player but so unreliable that he is actually a liability. Personally I wouldn't even bother putting him on the bench.

When Reina got sent off Kenny was on the field and it looked like Gerrard was telling him to go away because he was dealing with it.

That was telling for me. There was something in the way he rebuffed Dalglish that suggested he hasn't got the respect for him that he should have. Would he have done that to Capello? Doubt it.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but Gerrard's definitely fed up.

I imagine he was telling Doni he would be playing at Wembly in the semi.Doni looked ready to have a baby.

I found it hilarious too when the man sat next to him our reserve goalkeeper, Doni, has yet to play a minute for the club whole year while our full back was wearing Reina's oversized shirt and making saves on the pitch.

3 subs were already made, how could Doni come on?

There needs to be a Dalglish defends Carragher (and his inclusion) thread also.

we've gone on a losing run and gained nothing by playing carra. it was the ideal time to blood coates now it's definately the wrong time to play coates because you shouldn't introduce young players into struggling teams as it could fuck up their confidence. we have to to continue to play carra until agger is fit again (which is soon).

I agree that Gerrard is finished in cm. He's a wonderful crosser of the ball and therefore should play on the right.
