I'm not sure Klopp would be that distraught, but it's still a trophy and it's also an opportunity to play squaddies and ressies, which is always useful.
The Guardian reports mostly likely outcome a fine (I think there is precedent) but it also says we applied for Chirivella in July but didn’t get a response.
I’ve already forgotten about the game but who did he replace? Did he even touch the ball? I’m thinking of what defence Dantes can put before the committee.

As momo says a precedent has been set. Apparently the Sunderland situ was someone they played 4 times and got fined like £10k. Surely there is no basis for anything more than this for us.
Not to mention their own apparent tardiness in responding to our original request regarding Chirivella. If there's any justice (yes, I know) that should mitigate any penalty they have the brass neck to hand out. The possibility that, if it does, Bluefume will go apesh!t over it is icing on the cake.
I'm dreaming that they announce a paltry fine for us on the same day of the announcement that City are chucked out of the Champions League and docked 18 points in the Premier League for breach of FFP
