You know that second goal is ace. The run and trickery from Suso to create the space and opportunity and lay off to Assaidi. That ball from Assaidi though - so much the right ball - and then someone in the box (a runner from midfield) to finish off. Thats how you play football. How many times have we had people in the right place and they've made the right decision as Oussama did ? Really encouraging. #excited

I'm not sure if we are all feeling slightly delusional as a result of all he crap we have had to put up with one thing and another but there is something beautiful about a small Spanish chap taking 3 defenders out of the game with nothing more than a shimmy and perfectly weighted pass!
Yeah, there's a part of me that thinks we should consider selling off our most prized assets (Reina, Johnson, Agger, Skrtel, Enrique, Downing, Carroll, etc) and invest it in incredibly talented players for the future. A while ago I wouldn't even have given it a seconds thought but the emergence of several youngsters into probably the most inform first-team players and then the very admirable performances by our youthful squad tonight and against Young Boys, means that every player should have a price.

Yep, also if you watch it again have a look at Sinclair's movement in the middle. Just a great all-round attacking move. I hope on the highlights tonight they show the build up on the right hand side with the quick, intricate passing in such a tight area that preceded Suso's run from deep.

Another point - we were down 3-2 to Young Boys and 1-0 to WBA, and the team never quit ... Kept on fighting, heads up and the goals came. Great great attitude here.

Haha, that's where the funds generated could be spent, to strengthen that position. There are plenty of good young 'keepers about, Lloris and Courtois were snapped up by Tottenham and Chelsea respectively, Mignolet is an underrated talent who could easily make a move up, Muslera is another worth looking at, same with Vorm. I doubt the fee for Pepe would be any less than these.
