I have really liked what I have seen from Assaidi, he has a bit of pace, is direct and always look to be positive. He is basically the opposite of Downing which is a good thing.

The build up play down our right initially was excellent, lots of triangles, tight passing and then releasing the ball to build up with Suso. Brilliant stuff.

I think Sterling has been showing Downing what is expected of a wide player in this system and Assaidi just compounded that today. He had a great game.
