I didn't even turn on the tv till about half an hour into this match. That's how little I care about us at the moment. Caicedo-Mcallister is an elite midfield. It's not even remotely surprising Brighton are dominating us.

Imagine if we bought a midfielder. Man, we'd still be the same, but we'd have something else to moan about (like out shit defending, shit attacking, lack of depth, lack of plan b, etc)

We are such an average team - full of great players.
I don't know if Klopp is around next year the way we're going ...
Why the FUCK did we spend 37 million on a LWF when the midfield was so so key to any chance to compete.
Everything is broken.

Real Madrid are going to fucking Bayern-Arsenal us ... 10-2 on aggregate if they take pity on us.

There is no magic in the Universe that can help this team at this moment.
If no MF comes in by the end of Jan, the fans must collectively call for FSG to leave the club. You cannot compete for titles on a sustainable level when your budget is £40m

He did change things earlier in the season, when we looked just as clueless though.
We sat back. were compact and ground out some low scoring wins. 442, or what it was.

Yes, which makes it all the more baffling why he went back into denial mode after the WC. It’s like he forgot how bad our problems really are.

Worst thing is its not even surprising. No passion, no direction, no clue.

Klopp has been dire this season. When he's forced to salvage something with his squad, he plays what he thinks is safe, time and time again. He's watched the same dross for months, no change, no flexibility, just nothing. He looks shellshocked on the touchline, maybe he's finally realised he can't grin this shite off any longer, because it won't wash. He and we have been appalling.

No one has played well, bar maybe Keita and Ox, which means good for Ox, but not really good.

Salah hugely disappointing. He has been found on many occasions and gave it right back to them.

This is when the Klopp out threads begin.

His INABILITY to fucking change the formation considering we don't have the players to play 4-3-3 is making me sincerely concerned ... seriously.

I think mentally, he may be tired too ... I just wonder if he just is losing his desire to do this anymore ...

Unfortunately ...

Outplayed, outfought, outthought and just embarrassing to watch a team so far away from what it should be. Worse than Brentford. Nothing is working.

The season is done, and so am I with this shite.

Just go back to sitting back and countering.
Mourinho ball.
Asked that same question in another thread and like Fabs just said, no.
Klopp is as stubborn as other managers.
I think that we're in terrible state right now as a club where theres a disconnect between the board and the management staff.
Klopp alluded to this in the latest press conference. I think he realises that we need strengthening in certain areas but there's nothing he can do without funds being allocated for this.
On the other hand we signed a very expensive striker in the summer and we just signed Gakpo. So I kinda see both sides of it.
The board are probably confident in that they've supported Klopp but we're buying the wrong players.
Honestly, I really don't know who to blame.
But I'm leaning towards Klopp.

The situation you are describing, in its entirety, if accurate is a condemnation of owners and management, not klopp. They allow funds but they are misused? That's not how funds are allowed, it's never been how this team has operated. If there isn't a group, all rowing in the same direction on significant decisions, then the owners have just let the club drift.

The coaching staff are to blame as they set us up - even with players of limited ability you can be difficult to beat - we aren’t that’s on Koop and pep.

the board, yes we don’t have loads of money and that’s on FSG - however we don’t just have to buy forwards, we have known naby and ox are perma crocks, it was obvious we needed midfielders - so that’s on the coaching staff and the board.

plus my biggest gripe - pep he’s does my tits in, he a cunt who has lucked out and, for me, is why we don’t press or play a possession game, we play a nothing game now.
