Isn't this the block which Jamo stated was where the main chant starters were from? I'm sure it was?

Well having sat there last Thursday, I couldn't contain my excitement at being in amongst the "elite" of 305. Imagine my surprise when many in this clueless band starting chanting such gems as:

"Who the fuck are Man Utd?" and "Fuck off Chelsea FC....". They were roundly told to fuck off by many and I don't want this to be an OOT thing but not one of them was from Liverpool - but then neither am I. It was like being surrounded by Zlatans!

Sort your lives out, learn the traditions of the club or fuck off or just join in with the songs about OUR club and you won't go far wrong.

Yep, I think his line was "wasn't 305 buzzing last night".

I do agree, we shouldn't sing songs about United, we are better than that. But then again i'm an OOT aswel, but i'm sure the locals would agree.

OR just worry about what you club does on and off the pitch as that is what matters 😉

I do worry about what my club does on and off the pitch. You seem more preoccupied with spouting the kind of bollocks that makes me cringe with embarrassment that we supposedly share in common.

But Block 305 chants shit.
Fixed that for you.

I had a feeling you'd do that 8)

I actually have to admit getting a little carried away as it was my first game; you're right tho.

I remember hearing shit chants about us when the Scum played Malaysia last year; 6000 miles away and Manc fans are just as pathetic.

Avvy, you didn't get carried away and start chants about Man Utd or Chelsea during a game which they were not playing in. You joined in with the "proper" chants coming from our right - ie songs about Liverpool, our players and some of the old, rarely heard songs from the 70's and 80's.

I heard poor scouser tommy once. I was too busy getting frustrated at n'gog to pay much attention to anything else though.
Think they tried it twice; but that was one of the songs I flubbed once...I know it in my sleep, but I was too excited and forgot my words..

Spion : I have to admit to not knowing all of the words to the much older songs, in all honesty..though I loved singing FOAR..I only wished we could have sung the whole song loudly and not the second and fourth verse..I actually love the 'Shankly gates' and 'Paisley gates' verses far more..those verses were sung much more softly.

Maybe I'll try and start it next time 8)

Ha, i was in the main stand, and my brother got asked if he was Norwegian by some guy cos he was singing YNWA really loudly.

Those Norwegians do belt it out all the same. They're like human vuvuzelahs.

Oh dear

Who the fuck are Man Utd
Stand up if you hate man U
Who are yer?
Champions League, yer having a laugh

All chants that no LFC fan would ever sing

'who are ya' is possibly the most annoying chant in the world. Closely followed by 'your support is fucking shit'
*Agrees*

Though I think Chelsea Dagger would be close.
I find Spurs fans singing when 'When the Spurs go marching in' truly irratating.

I don't care what anyone says, when the kop is quiet block 305 do their bit in trying to generate an atmosphere. They do all the regular chants when ive either sat there or sat by there, "Poor Scouser Tommy", "Fields of Anfield Road" etc. A friendly against Rabotnicki with 30,000 people isnt really fair to judge it on.

Any sections that creates noise can hardly be looked down on.

How many that actually go to the games sing throughout the match?

Not many I'm betting. If their chants are that poor sing your own and drown them out.

I will happily sing my heart out, but I won't if nobody around me is, I try and join in in quiet sections but I feel like a cock, when im the only person in a 10 person radius singing.

Very true can be hard to sing alone. My point was more don't knock those who sing poor songs if your not prepared to sing your own.

In any case I think your in agreement on that point.
