It will be a nice distraction from the depressing sight at Liverpool currently.

It's going to be a nice feeling getting really excited about a tie we are involved in where something big is at stake.

It's been too long.

I think we will have to have the 180 minutes of our lives and hope and pray the French have 2 very off days.

It's a real shame Stephen Ireland isn't playing as he could have made a big impact.

'Tis a shame because he is one of the best midfielders in the premiership. His record at international level is terrific aswell...4 goals in 6 games.

Here's what Trapattoni said about him:
