I cant remember the game or who the player was whom he tackled but in a premier league game Stephane Henchoz having been last man came round a player to tackle cleanly when through on goal on the penalty spot from an impossible angle and I remember thinking it was the greatest tackle i had ever seen.
Still is.

This came up at the end of that last video Modo posted, not an example of a good tackle but always funny to watch. Surely Nani was tortured at school if he got on like that all the time.

Looking at it again, there are so many other funny parts.

Starting at around the 0:19 mark. Kuyt's in Nani's face screaming away, and Scholes runs over all hard and pushes Kuyt away in an attempt to protect his kid brother. Kuyt's furious at the push and comes back at Scholes menacingly. The little Manc hard man then realizes he's picked on the wrong fella and starts to back off and tries to calm Kuyt down. Good thing for Scholes others intervened before the Dutchman lamped him. And look at the evil Suarez being all nice and sweet pulling Scholes away.

Also, there wasn't any fuss made about Nani grabbing Dowd's arm and turning him around. Contrast that to Sterling laying a hand on Webb.

And throughout the whole incident Gerrard was acting as Dowd's bodyguard, wrestling with and pushing the remonstrating Evra away, keeping him a few yards clear from the ref.

My nomination was mentioned recently in another thread - Sami's block tackle on Rivaldo when we knocked Barca out of the UEFA Cup at Anfield in the Treble season. Rivaldo's just got past a couple of our lads in midfield and is bearing down on goal when Sami suddenly looms up ahead of him. With no room to get past, Rivaldo literally runs into the big man and bounces off him like a feckin Minion. Class. 😎
