TURIN, June 19 - Ultimatum to Juve. Rafa Benitez gives seven days to determine the purchase of Andrea Dossena, object of desire (but not solely) by Ciro Ferrara for the band left. By the end of next week, the Liverpool wants to have clear ideas on the situation of national blue and, as is assumed, it is not only an economic issue, but mainly technical. Fabio Aurelio, ie the player with whom he Dossena battle all year for the post holder, was seriously injured the knee while on holiday in Brazil. Hence the rush to Benitez. If the sale of Italian should be, which is fast, otherwise, there will be time to find a replacement to that. But there is also the possibility that the outside Lombard is removed from the market.

The price of the player, in any case, it is known to Juve: 6 million. It is also noted his request for employment (1.5 million per season). Figures after all reasonable, since it is a national. The agent Dossena, Roberto Florio This confirms that the issue should be resolved within seven days at most. "I do not know if you can talk about Liverpool's ultimatum, but I think that by next week, Juventus will have to decide what to do. The band left is a necessity for the Bianconeri and the leadership does not want to go too long. I believe that it is always a race between two and Andrea Grosso. But Dossena has its age and the employment. Andrea in recent days has covertly expressed her desire to go to Juventus, but he also said that at Liverpool is very good. Play the Champions and Premier, in a fantastic. It is clear that if you get an offer important and timely, cost Liverpool could sit at the negotiating table. " The injury to Fabio Aurelio could complicate the plans of Juve? "This is a variable to consider. The player could stay out a few months, we'll see. Even for this, I think that by next week we will know more. Juventus remains the largest accredited, because he needs to reinforce in that role. "

The decision to Dry & c., however, must be fast. But the hypothesis Fabio Grosso. The hero of Germany started in 2006 seems to leave Lyon, provided that the Juve face an interesting one. If not, would remain in Ligue 1. Again, therefore, to Corso Galileo Ferraris have to decide quickly. The duel, however, is not limited to Grosso and Dossena (with seconds ahead at the moment). In the running back is also Aleksandr Kolarov, who had already been requested by Claudio Ranieri before its release. So far the chairman of Lazio Lotito refused to treat the topic, but Secco and Blanc have not lost hope. Within seven days, however, you will know the truth about the quarterback left Juve.

Bruno didn't actually get floored that much though did he? I recall him taking a lot of punishment but staying up (probably too long).

At the risk of straying so far off topic we'll end up in the wrong forum, yes Bruno had the glassiest of chins. He fought four good fighters - James Smith, Tim Witherspoon, Tyson and Lewis and all four (five if you count both Tyson fights) battered him more or less as soon as they'd connected with their first decent shot. Against Smith, Witherspoon and Lewis, Bruno was well on top until they starting throwing serious punches. In his first fight with Tyson he was down inside 30 seconds and the rematch was even more brutal. Even the one or two half decent fighters he fought troubled him (not least a 65 year old Joe Bugner). All of Bruno's wins were against has beens, never weres or girls.

Oh yeah, I'm not saying he was good or anything, I just seem to remember him fumbling about when he get nailed rather than being "KO'd" as such. Maybe it's selective memory 🙂

There are only two people who are truly made of glass.

Mr. Glass from "Unbreakable"

And Chris Kirkland.

He was a big fella to put down but as soon as he was caught with a decent shot, you could see the lights go out.

Kieron Dyer and Darren Anderton disagree.

I was worried that he might get injured during our pre-season friendlies.

Hope he'll recover just in time to kick start our new season.

Degen might just have a few words to say about that as well.

Kewell might not be too happy about it either

I reckon Insua is the best left-back on our books at the moment. I also think that as a youngster, the more he plays the better he will get.

Insua looks good but we really need to see him up against a top right winger who really has a go at him. I may be wrong, but I can't think of him facing anyone in the top bracket yet?

This is why I'd prefer us to keep Arbeloa if possible - he can offer cover for both sides of the defence, and with Aurelio the way he is, we'll need it.

How many times did Arbeloa play at LB last season?

I reckon, as the squad curreltnyl stands, he's our 4th choice LB.

We don't need him for LB.

I hope the 3rd choice is Butchmann.
