Poll Arsenal or United?

Not jinxing our game against Blackburn (I have done the secret dance three times under an old oak tree at midnight), but who would people rather play if we get through to the semis, Arsenal or United?

My question is a technical one. Which team's style of play better suits us to play against? How will our 3-4-3 match up against Utd's 3-5-2 or Arsenal's 4-1-4-1 (or whatever the fuck they're playing these days). Will Utd's ponderous build up lull us into a shitty game that becomes a lottery? Or are Arsenal the more dangerous opponents? Obviously we have league games coming against these teams too, so whether or not we beat Blackburn, we'll be facing these teams soon.

But, I'd take either of Utd or Arsenal if thats the case. Dont think we should fear either of them.

Would you love it to be Utd as it would mean more to beat them, or because you think we've a better chance against them?

Both I guess. But to beat United (especially when the guy who invited me is my daughter's potential father-in-law and a rabid United supporter) at Wembley would be heaven !

I don't think there's a lot between them but id rather we played utd as I feel their game is dependent on big names turning up as opposed to a system and I'd feel there's more chance of those players going missing

If we do ourselves justice we're better than either. My preference (just) would be to play Arsenal because, though I suspect they're more talented overall, they've also got a softer centre. The Mancs are pants compared with some of their teams of the past, but that winning habit is still there in their DNA. Unfortunately.

It used to be there while Ferguson was there. Not so sure about it now that he and most of their main players are not there anymore.
Having said that, I agree that they should not be written off.

The draw will take place on BBC1 at around 21.45 GMT after Manchester United's home tie with Arsenal.
Ex-United keeper Peter Schmeichel and presenter Dermot O'Leary will preside.
The numbers to look out for will be:
1 Liverpool or Blackburn Rovers
2 Bradford City or Reading
3 Manchester United or Arsenal
4 Aston Villa
The semi-final ties are to be played on 18 and 19 April.
