Arjen Robben's alleged dressing room bust-up with Franck Ribery could force the Dutchman out of Bayern Munich this summer.

Robben supposedly had a row with Ribery at half-time in Bayern's 2-1 Champions League win over Real Madrid.
Bayern's president Uli Hoeness has confirmed that negotiations with Robben over a new contract have broken down and the forward admits "recent developments" have led him to reconsider his situation at the Bundesliga club.
"Franck knows that he cannot do what he did," Robben told Kicker magazine.
"These are all things which are not positive and not pretty, therefore I need to consider everything really well.
"We will have to wait and see - there have been lots of recent developments."
Robben and Ribery are reported to have come to blows in the dressing room after a discussion over who should have taken a free-kick boiled over.
A gesture from Ribery towards Robben in the 2-1 win over Werder Bremen on the following weekend led the club to say the issue had been resolved, but Robben, whose contract with Bayern still has a year left to run on it, has admitted he is now considering his future.
"There are a few different options," he said. "That is normal when you are at a top club and people know what I am capable of."
And Bayern appears to be becoming less of an attractive option by the day.
"I don't know exactly how things stand," admitted Hoeness.
"All I know is that he was just about to put pen to paper, and now that has all been postponed."

I know he's a twat but sign!!

He was quality against madrid.

I couldnt believe how poor ribery was - surely they should sack off fwank?

Ribery has been shite since that day the bookies refused to take bets on him coming to Liverpool. It was like the gods (who evidently despise us) believed that shit and turned him into someone that not only looks like Frankenstein's monster, but plays like him too.

I wrote a cracking song for him and everything.

I'd much rather have Kagawa. He refused to sign a new contract with Dortmund and wants to play in the PL.

Yes sign sign sign + I think he will get the first goal in the champions league final 🙂

nah , he's great , he'd change the face of our team dramatically . seen him live a few times and on his day he pisses on teams .

Avoid??

53 goals in 87 games for Bayern. This kind of player wins you thropies. I'd sign him in a hearbeat.

Assholes win trophies. A bunch of nice guys won't win you anything. Utd specifically signed Ferguson as they wanted a bastard who would win the league.

Sorry, I probably didn't really make myself very clear. What I really mean is that some players bring their assholeness into the dressing room and are disliked by their team mates and I always thought Robben was a bit like that. This row with Ribery seems to confirm it. I think Dalglish, like a lot of managers, doesn't mind if you're a cunt on the field to the opposition (like Suarez), but doesn't like players who are detrimental to the team's sense of togetherness and joint purpose.

Perhaps you're right though Ruairi, who knows?

Welcome to the site iseered!

Well, perhaps you're right. I'm not a footballer but in my own experience teams perform better under certain conditions, such as when there's a certain degree of positivity in the group. It's not an either or thing, it's just that I think you'll get the most out of people, especially talented people, when they're relatively happy and at least respect their colleagues.
