Arjen Robben's alleged dressing room bust-up with Franck Ribery could force the Dutchman out of Bayern Munich this summer.
Robben supposedly had a row with Ribery at half-time in Bayern's 2-1 Champions League win over Real Madrid.
Bayern's president Uli Hoeness has confirmed that negotiations with Robben over a new contract have broken down and the forward admits "recent developments" have led him to reconsider his situation at the Bundesliga club.
"Franck knows that he cannot do what he did," Robben told Kicker magazine.
"These are all things which are not positive and not pretty, therefore I need to consider everything really well.
"We will have to wait and see - there have been lots of recent developments."
Robben and Ribery are reported to have come to blows in the dressing room after a discussion over who should have taken a free-kick boiled over.
A gesture from Ribery towards Robben in the 2-1 win over Werder Bremen on the following weekend led the club to say the issue had been resolved, but Robben, whose contract with Bayern still has a year left to run on it, has admitted he is now considering his future.
"There are a few different options," he said. "That is normal when you are at a top club and people know what I am capable of."
And Bayern appears to be becoming less of an attractive option by the day.
"I don't know exactly how things stand," admitted Hoeness.
"All I know is that he was just about to put pen to paper, and now that has all been postponed."
I know he's a twat but sign!!
