I'm not gonna disagree about him being a cunt, he clearly is but other 'cunts' have blossomed here too, and at other clubs for that matter. Look at Cantona for instance, or closer to home, Anelka. Sometimes players just need the right environment to settle. I agree we need stability so maybe it's the wrong route to take in that sense, but as a player he's completely ideal as the type of forward we're looking for.

But look at the two you mentioned. There is no doubt i.e. Cantona was a man who alone could have filled up Old Trafford. His arrogance helped creating his image. I think it says a lot about the wankers when they put i.e. Beckham higher than Cantona on the list of best Man U players throughout the time. He was sent packing by Leeds when hitting his prime, and for all good players and the not to mention the good team United had in his prime, he was the one who pulled it through natural leadership on and off the pitch.
Anelka... Hmmm I dont think he came along as a cunt when he was here? He was centered with some turmoil both in Arsenal and Real, and really was the centre of his own universe there. But when he was at us he looked to have matured, and he could have kicked away a good Liverpool career. He could have been a natural ingredience in our team, and he could have found some peace for himself in our surroundings. Who knows. He defo have created some turmoil in the WC, but that France squad was not exactly the gel of the universe.... And he was not sent packing from Arsenal i.e. they were just ousted by Real who usually does that when they want their man.
But Adebayor is surplus at both Arse and City. And that is two decent managers who has had enough of him. Well I dont know.... I just dont think he will do us any good of the pitch, and I suspect there is were the new manager will start building his team.

I think we'll have to agree to disagree, Cantona pulled them through on and off the pitch? He was the catalyst for their teams success, but let's not pretend he was the model pro, he got banned for *ages* for the kung-fu kick.
Regards Anelka, that was my point. He came here with a rep, he was a gobby twat at Arsenal, thought he was better than he was and failed in his 'big move' to Madrid. He came here after he'd been knocked down a peg or two over a couple of years and maybe it was the wake up call he needed. We gave him a chance and regardless of the fact we never took him on, it was more or less a rebirth for him and he's never looked back, he got it together at Bolton and now he's a huge success at Chelsea. He matured in the right environment. Who's to say Adebayor can't do the same?

I think we both agree and disagree... Cantonas suspencion was fair, and he took it fairly. Pretty much the way Robbies bans ( I think was handed a few 6 games bans if not mistaken) were taken fair with no more fuzz. And I never saw as a cunt or a rebel or even if not a model pro, he was still a Pool man through and through.,
For Adebayor? Well , fighting in training, kicikng opponents etc. I have never rated him, but I cant guarantee he will not settle in fine... I just dont believe in it.
