I'm counting on us selling Borini and when he and Aspas are sold, we should buy a Striker in the Suarez mould. That's all. It might be the least of our worries but in order to compete in four competitions we need a better striker option on the bench. Borini and Aspas don't cut it.Dunno if its me but im lost tbh, not even sure its worth trying to explain again, you seem move the goalposts with each different post.
Who cares if Borini isn't a versatile player? we are talking about signing a striker, no? and he is a striker.
Sturridge and Suarez (he ain't going) will be playing as the strikers for us next season, imo we should be looking at signing another attacking player (maybe 2) to supplement them, not a striker.
We simply won't improve on those 2 players, how about spending the money on positions we can improve on like left sided attack, if hes versatile and can play on the right as well then great!, how about splashing out on a top class attacking centre midfielder who can bring some goals and creativity to that position, something we lack, left back also, lets go and upgrade on that position.
Just don't see how buying a striker is in any way a priority right now, as Hansern mentioned if we do sell Borini then along with the bag of peanuts we will get for Aspas then yes go and sign a back up striker with that money.
But you're right, sort the wings and the left back position first.
