30 million pound Sterling bid rejected - new bid made

I've only seen clips but he does look one heck of a player. Some have advocated buying him to play up front and I can't really see that (he's an AM, not an out-and-out forward player) but yes, if Sterling goes this guy would be not only a replacement but an upgrade IMO.

I like post hype players , so Lamela is appealing to me.

If we were to sell Sterling, get Lamela and bank 30m - the jobs oxo.

City need to unload some players, we should be linking Sterling to a few.

£45m + Bony would do me fine. Maybe Jovetic as well.

Anyone would be mad not to take 50M for Sterling. Let's admit it - he's nowhere near in the same vein as Ronaldo or Messi. Or even, the likes of Bale, Suarez and Neymar.

Sterling for me belongs to the next group of players after them. And that's probably the best he'll ever be, if not worse, if his attitude continues down this path with Aidy.

Man City could come in with a player-plus-cash deal for Sterling. Dzeko is one player who could interest Rodgers. [Paul Joyce]
I would take the deal depending upon money being offered but the main question is whether he would like to move to Liverpool

Dzeko would be a bad signing.

He's good in the box and scores lots of goals but he's not someone who is going to interact in the build up play, static and at times, lazy. We've been down that road already, have we not?

We shouldn't sell him..

Let his contact run down..

Save a shed load in wages..

Let him go for free...

Cash in on his compensation.. If we get silly offers like 50 million at the mo .. His compensation figure will be very high, plus we also save on the monies we give to QPR..

Liverpool and FSG are in control on this.. His agent can scream all he wants, Liverpool hold all the cards...

I can't really think of any City player I'd want in part-x.

But then, I haven't the foggiest how Rodgers will decide to line us up next season so picking out any potential signing is a bit of a puzzle.

"Could" interest Rodgers. In other words the guy hasn't a scooby who actually will.

'We'll offer you much less than you want, plus we'll give you a player we don't think is good enough for us'. Yes, great bargaining. Sadly, we've actually fallen for it several times in recent years.

Jovetic, Nasri and Dzeko are all expected to leave City this summer apparently. Out of them who would you take +40Mill?

I can't decide whether you're trying for a forum woosh or just wooshing yourself?
