25 man squad

All teams had to submit one when the transfer window closed.

I was wondering what ours looked like and then realised it didn't matter as we have so many key English/Welsh players and U21s.

My understanding is that the squad needs to have 8 home grown players to have the maximum 25. We have:

1. Carra
2. Gerrard
3. Spearing
4. Bellamy
5. GlenJo
6. Downing
7. Carroll
8. (Jones) - Homegrown due to being brought through at Middlesbrough

Which then leaves us with sspace for up to 17 non-Home Grown players that were 21 or over in January of this year.

3. Skittles
4. Agger
5. Enrique
6. Aurelio - Being permanently injured doesn't count as free 🙂
7. Adam - Scots don't count as home grown
8. Lucas
9. Maxi
10. Kuyt
11. Suarez

Hendo, Wilson, Kelly, Shelvey Flannagan, Robinson and Coates (didn't realise that!)

We are a much leaner squad these days. Another thing is I hope the registration will allow players' jersey numbers to be changed. I mean, 49 for Robinson FFS.

I think he only qualifies as an under 21 if he has lived in the country for 3 years. IT's irrelevant anyway as we have plenty of space in the 25

That's only for the homegrown rule. Balotelli qualifies for u-21 for man city

They should really have it 1-25 like in spain! With only the youth team and reserves to be given the bigger numbers!

Last time I checked my abacus 23 was between 1 and 25!! 8)
