I don't think anyone's defending it per se, rather than suggesting Karma is a bitch.
Exactly, and if we needed reminding why it is Karma, Drogba decided to remind us with his restless leg syndrome.
I thought he was seizing at that point in time.

Lol @ knl's SOD (Save Our Drogba) campaign.

Oh, and Fabfregas !
I don't care about Drogba. I pretty much hate him as player. He's a cheat and often a disgrace to the game. This is not about him though.

When I see a bad foul I'm not waiting to see who actually got fouled before I decide whether it was ok or not mind.

Last night I watched a United player cross the line thoroughly and jeopardize with an opponents health.

I'm just baffled as to why anyone would defend it. That's all.

It can be. And you could say Drogba of all people has been somewhat asking for it.

But when a player decides to drop-kick another player it should still be penalized?

By your logics Evans will lose an arm at some point. Fingers crossed that won't happen.
Your Logic is rather fuzzy if you believe that to be my Logic.

I think he was in pain. It looked strange. But I'm not sure there is some kind of standard way to react when you've been kicked in the chest.

Anywas, as you were.

Let's agree to disagree.

I'll keep my fingers firmly crossed this Evans-bloke gets a hefty ban. Anything else wouldn't be fair.

I like you khl, we often agree on matters but you should let this one go.

Sometimes life's unfair.

And it's fucking SWEET.

So you think he may have been having a seizure, after having complete body control on his way down, and grasping his chest? It must have been a delayed, short lived seizure where you can walk a few moments later.

No. I don't think that at all. I reckon he was merely doing whatever he did because he was in pain? Good ol' pain. It looked rather dramatic. But that's still not my point.

When you get kicked in the chest you'll fell pain. How you respond to that pain should not effect the refs decision to penalize the fault committed?

The ref even called in the medics, then waited a few minutes for him to come up on his legs and THEN book him?

WTF was that? That's just laughable. Maybe the ref was hoping for a seizure and then he got disapoointed too, either way it looked like a ref with a bad case of Fergusonitis. Again.

Worst refereeing I've seen for some time. Evans looked a real cunt too. So did Vidic.

Drogba beeing dramaqueen Drogba has got nothing to with it really. It was a blatant red-card offense by Evans, and how the ref fucked that up is beyond me.

Who doesn't think it was a foul, and a poor refereeing decision?

That's right, no one. Evans didn't look like as much of a cunt as Drogba, because Drogba wasn't kicking a playacting cheat and then watching them flop around, wheraes Evans was. Rather dramatic? He was acting like he thought someone who was seriously injured would act. He's that much of an asshole. History teaches us this. That is NO ONE's normal reaction to being hit in the chest.

The ref obviously didn't see the incident, and the real Karma is that Drogba's overacting, far from selling the ref on it, actually seems to have convinced him that it was simulation, which of course, it was, in a way. I think there's an air of justice in that injustice, with respect to Drogba, though not to Evans.

Vidic was probably laughing at Drogba's reaction as well.

I can't believe how much you care about this as an injustice. Since when is logic more important than watching the bad guy lose? The Mancs lost the game, Drogba lost the battle while looking a tit. That's about all you can redeem from a match between those teams.

The correct response is to laugh, as no one got significantly injured.

I wasn't aware of this. However Farky I'm perfectly aware of how big a tit Drogba can be. ACtually, just to make it perfectly clear *caps lock activated* I DO NOT LIKE DROGBA ONE BIT.

In this particular case I just don't think he was the culprit. And it irritated me big time the Manc got away with it.

The ref acted mind-bogglingly stupid, alongside the player who threw in that wild challenge. (And to some extent his sniggering cant of a teammate too).

Anyways before Niall K or someone equally clever decides to throw in another belter of a funny-comment I'm not going to comment more on the matter.

I will just laugh.

Ha.

I will ride with KHL here. I thought it was something out of UFC, and Drogba is very lucky not to be seriously hurt. A kick like that can kill a man, I reckon it is the equivalent to a 100-150 joule shock from a defibrillator. He had a little look, got his leg up, and then extended his knee to cause maximum damage. Karate kid-esque.
Yes Drogba is a cheat, a thug, and winds up fans like no one else on earth. I can say for sure though, if someone did that to me on a football pitch, they would not be walking off the pitch. Or for a month after at least.

I was delighted to see Drogba get a long overdue kicking, the cunt.
Bravo Jonny Evans.

x2. He's mustard that Evans. The bastards.

That incident was the highlight of the game for me.

Just to make it that little bit sweeter, i'd like to see Evans get a ban.

Ha.

To be fair i think KHL has a point.

Evans foot is about 6ft off the ground and he definitely intends to give Drogba a good kick.

Only thing I can think of that could be slightly connected to a toothbrush-joke is the 'Dogbreath' nick name.

Would just make more sense if they were playing away from home I guess.

Is it Dubes making a comback?

Which reminds me of that 5-1, a great game. Berger cemented his place as the World's best player whilst Dom Matteo became the heir apparent to Jocky Hansen.

Halcyon days.
