Lescott seems to be the biggest waste of money this season.
Roque Santa Cruz?
Well he has been injured for most part of the season. Lescott on the other hand has been decidedly poor. Thing is, Hughes is unlikely to drop him. They shouldn't have sold Dunne as the backups they have as Onuha and Richards.

Looking at another angle, Everton got Distin+Heitinga+Neill in exchange for Lescott. Who got the better deal?
Diston's rubbish, ditto Neill, and Heitinga's perenially injured.

It's one of those lose-lose situations for both clubs really.

We were linked to Distin before we signed the Greek. Although Distin is someone I dont wish to see here I dont think he's rubbish, he does a pretty ok job.

Neill is a *c*, Heitinga seems like a tough sonofabitch when he's fit.

Moyes doesnt seem to have a clue when he has big bucks to spend.

Yeah, maybe.

Fellaini's just not cut it, especially for that pricetag.

Although he's bought well elsewhere - Saha's excellent, that Bilayaletidnov looks impressive, and Heitinga could come good.

- Andy Reid is playing the best football of his career. Anybody watch that Spurs-Sunderland game? I thought he was the best player on the pitch, and how he can continue to be overlooked by Trapattoni is astonishing.
Agreed. It's remarkable that he continues to ignore how well that lad is playing...

I recon Fabregas will head to Barca next summer. We should see some stirring in the papers this January, and a fully fledged bid come the season end.

No matter how well the arse do this year, when a player's head is turned, you can only prolong the inevitable.

You've got one pick out of...

Fabregas
Van Persie
Ramsey
Arshavin
Walcott

Who would you take?

Fab Regals

and yes Saha's strike was incredible...

118. Johnny Evans should be banned for the rest of the Season. Stamping opponents - even Drogba - in the chest like that is probably the worst foul I've seen all year. What a disgrace.

119. The ref who then decided it was a bookable offence - by Drogba - letting the United-player walk, should ref the highly anticipated Northwich Victoria v Barrow Afc game next weekend.
I didnt think it was maliscious. He should have apologised like but defenders often go up with their legs high like that and push off an oppo to avoid getting clattered. Usually the studs go down the back in this case Drogba was face on. Im not buying it as intentional.
And how you can blame the ref for booking THE BIGGEST DIVER in the game for what he percieved as a dive is beyond me. It will and should be rescinded but its Drogba's own fault.

Look at the replay again mate.

He is doing his utmost to stamp him in the chest. It's one of the most malicious fouls I've seen all year and just beacuse it's cry-baby Drogba on the receiving end of this one I'm not going to change my opinion. Evans is IMO as big a disgrace to the game as Drogba has even been. Probably even more so as I haven't seen the latter trying to break someones ribs with malicious intend.

Seeing Vidic standing there laughing afterwards made me cringe even further.

Jonny Evans Assault on Drogba l Ninja-Kick l Ref Books Drogba Unbelievable!

Skrtl did the exact same thing last season. (my memory is foggy, but I think it was against spurs) The player he did it to didn't flop around like an epileptic seal, because he isn't the biggest playacting cunt in the entire game.

This has got fuck all to with Drogba. I know he's a cheating cunt.

But are you blind??

It was a horrendous challenge. And as such it should've been penalized. Not the other way around.

Anyone who says anything else is really acting like a blinkered fool.

*Skrtls challenge was awful too but not anywhere near as malicious looking as Evans' last night.

It does have to do with Drogba. It has everything to do with Drogba, and his fully deserved reputation.

Of course Evans should have been penalised, but I don't actually mind if Drogba was booked for simulation, not even simply because I hate him, but because even in a situation where he was actually clattered, he STILL managed to simulate something.

If you crucified Drogba, he'd still figure out a way to play it up.

No, he just thinks it wasn't malicious, or a "Stamp" in the normal sense of it. It seemed like more of a reaction thing, like oh my god it's a drogba I'd better fucking kick it in the chest so I can watch it flop around.

It can be. And you could say Drogba of all people has been somewhat asking for it.

But when a player decides to drop-kick another player it should still be penalized?

By your logics Evans will lose an arm at some point. Fingers crossed that won't happen.
