The way he felt and sounded after wigan, if he carried on with that we'd be making progress and changes would happen. But it takes one single game and he's back to normal, fantastic, hard work. And the fact that one game was a defeat! Fuck off it's a joke

Everyone can see his tactics need to change, and his team selections need to change. But he just grits his teeth and gets on with it. Accepting one beat after another. Then when it's at crisis point and he's bent over ready to take one. He pulls out a draw or a win where the players show "character", and he'll use that one solitary win to justify the previous dozen instances of total rubbish.

And now, it's not even a win. This man can now use a defeat, against a shit team (not a "good team&quot😉, he can use a defeat to draw comfort from

Ironically we drew too much last season and lost the title. This season we simply could not draw but lost that cost us everything.

2 things were; We weren't fantastic (neither was the effort, bar 4 players) and we weren't playing a particuarly good team.

It's not all Lucas' fault though Brendan. He's a limited player we all agree but at least he's made some fucking effort this year. There's so many other issues more pressing than him for instance why isn't Aquilani, a player we paid £20m for, playing ? And the whole application of the team stinks. I'm hating even thinking about football at the moment it's so fucking depressing.

It's really unfortunate that his 'good' run lasted 5 games or so this season ... I know he's loved for his hard work and commitment, but he's not been good enough for most of the year.
