Last season, besides my hard on for Vietto, I also shared a few relatively unmentioned players in SCM whom I felt looked pretty interesting. Usually I looked up a player whose stats in particular categories stood out, or who'd been highlighted in a decent list of promising up-and-coming young stars. It's the usual fart in the wind stuff. I missed Anthony Martial though, and I think @peterhague picked that one before anyone else (http://www.sixcrazyminutes.com/inde...c-alternatives-to-benteke.68619/#post-1299910).
Anyway, these were the other three guys I mentioned. As you can see, it's a bit of a mixed bag; Carrasco made his big move to Atletico Madrid in the summer while Amavi joined Villa, where he then picked up a cruciate ligament tear after about 10 league games. Batshuayi, like the widely-known Lacazette, stayed in Ligue 1 though. Batshuayi has continued his scoring form, with 11 in 20 league games this season (9 in 26 last season).
Yannick Ferrera Carrasco (Monaco --> Atletico Madrid)

Jordan Amavi (Nice --> Aston Villa)

Michy Batshuayi (still at Marseille)

So anyway, here's my first (probably) unmentioned player for this season - Wahbi Khazri, an attacking midfielder / wide forward who plays for Bordeaux. I can't remember seeing him when we played them away in the dull away draw. He was not in the team for the game at Anfield though.
A product of SC Bastia's academy, the 24-year-old Tunisian international joined Bordeaux two seasons ago after a couple of seasons at Bastia. Can't find clips of him in a full game against a particular team, so we'll have to rely on one of those ScoutNation clips again.
