I question his quality to the extent he does not suit our system or league. He will do really well in Spain and Germany, and defo in Saudi.

We can rarely complain about the fees we receive for players. If a deal is to be done, I do trust Edwards and Hughes to secure more than we expected, especially considering it’s his former manager who is interested. There isn’t as easy a Plan B when that’s the case. From their perspective, it’s very targeted, and they’re less likely to walk away. The club just needs to keep the conversations ongoing.
