Christ, Holland were awful in that first half. The Danes holding them easily and looking half-dangerous on the break themselves. Agger playing very well, Kuyt less so.

I'd still expect Holland to nick a win, but they're not exactly scintillating at the moment. Maybe if they bring Robben on. Or Babel if they're really desperate...

RVP lucky not to get a second yellow for kicking it away. His argument for not hearing the whistle is a valid one though. i wonder how FIFA will react to any appeals against such bookings.

Fuck it. Serves me right for feeling smug at half-time.

Kjaer had a couple of ropey moments today. Not convinced.

Especially for Dirk's goal.

I know its only one game, but can't see what all the fuss is about.

Elia looks like an improved Babel

I thought he was really good, unlucky to be booked for the foul of Snjeider where he won the ball which obviously influneced his decisions after that, looks to have a good partnership with Agger more importantly, if he washed up at Anfield over the summer Id be very pleased

he made a couple of glaring errors which could've cost them. Not seen enough of him to know if they were out of character, or if he's prone to it. He's still very young and will be interesting to watch him in the next 2 games.

Few thoughts.

Deserved win for Holland not sure they would've won without that own goal after 45 secs in the second half. Denmark were almost on par for the first 45 minutes.

Kjaer had a few very sloppy moments but otherwise looked assured. He's still only 20-years-old and probably a bit nervy about it all.

Without Bendtner we are completely toothless in attack.

Elija looked a real player and Kuyt was one of their best players. Good to see him and Agger chat and have a bit of a laugh afterwards.

Eriksen came in a at difficult time and failed to impress. There'll be plenty of time for him to do that mind.

Quote from the ITV commentator "You know you've got problems in midfield when Niklas Bendtner turns you inside out" .

Sorry KHL but made me giggle. Elia did look handy alright

A few good moments from Holland. That win will settle them down, and wit Robben or Elia to come in they will have more balance in the team. Will win the two remaining games too. Kuyt to grab a couple more too.
