who's doing what in Jan

If we're buying in January it would be because of unforseen injury problems.
Otherwise we're buying for next season. I can see us pulling a Chelsea with Timo Werner or another young player.
So basically we would be buying for the up coming season.
With Matip, Gomez coming back at the end of this month and Oxlade fit in April maybe, do we actually need strengthening?
I think we're good.

Lloyd Kelly has 6 months left on his contract. He'll be available for a pretty low fee as well.

We should be all over that after what I've read about him on the net, but there' s going to be competition.

Pulisic is a great talent no doubt. I wouldnt be writing him off. But going by how he has performed this year it does indeed look more like a business decision for the US market rather than football.

Dortmund fans aren't too impressed by Pulisic.

It all depends on the environment you get to work in. Pogba looked rubbish and couldn't get minutes at Anfield a few weeks back, Shaquiri looked like a quarter pounder playing for Stoke and Karius looked dodgy playing for Liverpool. 2 out of 3 improved almost over night by only changing their environment… I don't know the story With Pulisic, but I assume Chelsea can make a player out of him as the talent seem to be there. No guarantees though.

Never been overly impressed by Pulisic. Hes good and he has potential but he wouldnt displace Salah so hed end up on the bench for 80% of our games, I think the furore over him is largely because hes talented and American
Since we've changed the system.. I think Pulisic would have started more than 50% of games. However 60m for someone with only a year left on his contract would send a message to agents, that we can be held to a kings ransom.

Chelsea have gambled that they can make the money back in revenue from the US. I expect all future pre-season tours will be in the US until he leaves to suck all the money up.

Similarly I fully expect Werner to join Bayern for around €25-30m and loaned back for 6 months.

Hazard hasn't left yet and time will tell if Pulisic lives up to the hype or not - too early to tell now.
Going to chelsea is a big mistake IMO. For that price tag that will be expecting him to be the finished article and hitting the ground running. He's still a raw talent and will need time. Chelsea must be one of the worst clubs to go to for your development. He's a good player, but not a special player IMO.

The Camacho thing is interesting. Is the option to buy this summer? So the loan is 18 months (taking him there until next summer) but the agreed price is only after 6 months, and if they want to wait the full 18 months we would negotiate a higher price?

There are lots of Solanke and Origi rumours - but surely we would only loan out one of them? We would be very very short on rotation (or even end of game sub options) if we let both go. Unless Brewster is on the verge of becoming bench ready?

I think we'd consider selling Origi
