Majority of the time January is shite.

But we did get Suarez in January, as well as agger and skrtel I think?

But yeah, done.

Solanke is close to a permanent move to Brighton, appaz we want 12 mill £ according to Goal.

Wolves are close to signing Napoli midfielder Amadou Diawara for €35m beating off interest from Fiorentina. [Corriere del Mezzogiorno & A Bola]

Good signing for wolves.

If Chelsea/Arsenal sign Fekir, I would really question our reasons for pulling out of that deal based on our medical consultants view. That left side of mid is crying out for someone more natural - he is the only one that fits that role for us since Coutinho left. I reckon whoever signs him will get a true world class player in their team, and we will look shit for not signing him. Clearly our midfield purchases have not impressed Klopp that much for Klopp not even consider them with starting roles against our biggest rivals in the league this season. Before you say 'yes but he likes to blend them into the squad slowly' - that was never the case for Salah, Mane, Alli, or VVD - fucking straight in. Personally, if we continue to use Keita in this limited manner then clearly he has been Klopp's first expensive flop - one we really could not have afforded.

I'm not arguing that something must be wrong with Keita, because Klopp must be dying to change this

Fulham want Origi according to the Mail.
15 mill £.

Ah - I sense we are building those funds up again ... I wonder who we want to sign up... 19M for Solanke, 15 Million for Origi .... I see money coming in, plus money unspent from what would have been the Fekir transfer - (53M - 13M = 40M .... Shaqiri buy at 13M). So now we have 40M + 19M + 15m = 74M ... that needs to be spent guys .. we need to buy someone - cannot hold onto that much cash and do nothing with it.

If that's for real I hope we are buying a forward. We'd be damn thin for options if we let them two go and didn't do anything else.

If we got 19m for Solanke I'd be hoping to get that or more for Origi. And we would be awfully thin up front. Would prefer to wait to summer to sell really.

What's with you and Fekir, he has been shit this season?

I cannot think of anyone else who would be reliable enough for that creative role against any harsh defence other than him, Messi, Hazard, and a Sane type player. We need someone who can shoot from outside the box and bang those goals in from tight spots. Also - it would be nice to have players from the World Champion nation finally. All the best teams in the world have em, we need to be part of that club.

On the other hand if it's Werner than I can only think it is because of this:

So the actual cost of getting Keita to perform is his transfer fee plus buying his old mate ?
