Roy is likely to stay in charge.. unfortunately.
If he does leave- Whoever comes in to replace him will be a short term option. Any new owners will want to bring in their own manager and bring in their ideas and values with them. So with that in mind, its highly unlikely we will spend big. This counts out anyone currently on a contract with a large club. Hiddink is well and truely out of the question as he is a money grabbing fuckwitt..
How many managers would want to take over anyway?? it appears that everyone in the world thinks our team is complete shite AND apparently the expectations are too high. The expectations will never change as we are Liverpool FC. The pressure is immense. Potential managers would realise that they are a short term option with the pressure to deliever immediately. A near impossible job.
Some managers would perhaps consider the job if they had time to rebuild and had the complete support of the owners and the fans - This will simply not happen.
The only options are Kenny, O'Neill, Toshack, Zola, Pellegrini unemployed? Schuster, Curbishly, Strachan, Klinsmann, Ince... Some of those make me cringe. Some are possibly out of our price range...
My vote would be a past player - Someone who can keep the fans on side. They dont have to be experienced managers due to the transitional state we find ourselves in. I think its worth having a punt at a young manager. They may suprise us - or they may just come in and hold the fort until we are sold.
My choice - HYYPIA
