I reckon the Arse will keep hold of 4th. Some of those youngsters are very good indeed and they have the big Mo(mentum) going for them now.

Arsenal have the youngest starting XI on average in the Premier League this season (24y 238d). 18 of their Premier League goals have come from players aged 21 or younger: Smith Rowe (8), Saka (6) and Martinelli (4).

Only three players have played over 80% of Premier League minutes in the Premier League for Leicester this season – two of those are aged 34 and 35.

David de Gea the only constant figure in this squad, playing 100% of minutes in the Premier League in 2021-22.

Spurs have played just one player currently aged over 30 years old in the Premier League this season – that player is Hugo Lloris, and he’s played every single minute of action.

Just 18 players have started a Premier League match for West Ham United this season, with only Wolves (16) starting fewer. Impressive considering the Hammers’ European adventures.

I like reading these Age Profile charts. However it isn't as simple as just looking at where the bulk of the players lie. Goalkeepers and CBs can go on for much longer, 30-32 is prime for them. And there is the fitness improvement of modern players to consider, over their peers of yesteryear.

I don't see our group of players as being particularly 'old' yet. A gradual integration of 2-3 player transfers per Summer (see : Jota, Tsimikas, Elliott, Morton, Kelleher & Jones coming through) would see the squad rejuvenated.
