Crispy duck, with pancakes, plum source, cucumber and spring onions.

Is there an echo in here?

HAHA

No you just have very good taste.

I know. I get to eat it a lot more often over here too. There are so many Chinese restaurants competing for business, it really is very cheap!

Fillet steak, medium-rare, plus fried.

Delicious.

What does 'plus fried' mean Brendan?

I think I meant to type "fries"

Oh I see.

Yes!!! Fillet steak (Medium-Rare) is the way forward.

I have so many favorite meals.

I love FOOD!!!

Nah, steak has to be still twitching slightly.

Blue is the way forward (as long as it's a decent cut of meat that is)

That is how my brother has it.

It is a little too much for me.

Pink with some blood is how I like my meat.

EDIT: oh yeah, I regularly eat chickens feet too, which a lot of people seem to think is a bit weird

The oinly time I really enjoy eating fish is when I'm with my girlfriend, because she loves fish head.which leaves me with the rest of the fish. And yes, she likes fish eyes.I of course have to look away when I see her eating that.

I'm OK with chicken's feet, but it's not something I like all that much.My girlfriend likes it tho.

Congealed pig's blood is horrific.Again,my girlfriend likes it; and she tells me it's supposed to be good for the blood or something.I don't believe her.

I think I should be scared of my girlfriend.

only a chinese would love chicken feet and congealed pig's blood [/quote]

I'm OK with the feet, tho I don't really like it.

But the blood....no chance.

ermm... as far as i know there are 2 ways chicken feet are cooked.
1) the chinese way is to stew/braise it with soya sauce and dried chinese mushroom.
2) the thai way to skin the feet, pickle it with vinegar and shallots garnished with crush peanuts.

yummy

There's more ways than that.

Steamed in black bean sauce with chilli. Served cold with the rice wine sauce and the honeyed little bean thingies (yuck!)

I'm sure I've seen other ways, but I can't remember right now

I've had food poisoning, and I tell you now - any of those fuckers who phone in going "Yeah, I ate something a bit dodgy, kinda a bit pukey and got the shits, I'll be in tomorrow" - are talking out of their fucking arses.

I got food poisoning a while back, and the only time I moved from my bed in four days, was to crawl on my hands and knees to the toilet to explode from either end.

And it took me a good minute or two to get there as well.

Even sitting up in bed knackered me completely and left me out of breath - I was *FUCKED*.

Food poisoning is horrible

Why am I not surprised considering some of the delicacies you like to try

No, I did the typically British thing of smiling wanly and going "Yeah, everything's fine thanks" instead of going "No, this is stone fucking cold in the middle" like I should have done

I got food poisoning when I was 9. In France. That was number 1 on my list of things I dislike about France. It's grown ever since.

So have you learnt your lesson to complain next time ?

Next time??!!?

You think I'm gonna go back so they can finish the job?

worst ever food poisoning was with bad seafood, cockles to be exact.

was having a seafood lunch with my girlfriend's family when her Dad suddenlt told us to stop eating coz he thought the cockles were dodgy.

we'd all had some, but guess who was the only one to be puking his guts out for 2 days?
