Whats everyones favourite meal

butteredtigerprawnssz7.jpg

buttered swamp crabs seasoned with salted egg york. these are some of the heavenly seafood cuisine i have just recently enjoyed. i have not posted mayonasied coral lobster. howzat for seafood? slurrrppppping up me saliva now.

lobster is pricey because it is difficult to catch and rare. its meat is like crab except it is more chunky, ie easier to get at compared with crab meat. it is nice, depending on how it is cooked.

caviar is just fish roe, too hyped up as a snack. i dont see why it is so valuable, maybe i ate the wrong type of caviar.

of course we do. pizza hut, McD, kfc, kebabs... yucks. talk about curries, u aint see nothing yet, those curries u get in the uk is not half as good.

I love seafood too. In the last week I've eaten red mullet, crabs, lobsters, prawns, oysters and mussels.

Fantastic.

Has anyone tried abalone?

I'm just curious, because I always think it's strange how normally you pay a premium for fresh seafood, but with abalone it's sort of not too expensive when fresh, but ridiculous when dried.

(My old man got treated to some out in China, came to about £40 per abalone. That was the cheap one.

The expensive ones were £1000 EACH!!!

EDIT: oh yeah, I regularly eat chickens feet too, which a lot of people seem to think is a bit weird

The oinly time I really enjoy eating fish is when I'm with my girlfriend, because she loves fish head.which leaves me with the rest of the fish. And yes, she likes fish eyes.I of course have to look away when I see her eating that.

I'm OK with chicken's feet, but it's not something I like all that much.My girlfriend likes it tho.

Congealed pig's blood is horrific.Again,my girlfriend likes it; and she tells me it's supposed to be good for the blood or something.I don't believe her.

I think I should be scared of my girlfriend.[/quote]

only a chinese would love chicken feet and congealed pig's blood

I think I had it in Viet Nam once but I'm not sure. It wasn't the John West to be honest.

Isn't an abalone just a long marine stomach creature?

fresh abalone is rubbery and tasteless but canned and processed abalone steak taste wonderfully heavenly

I thought it was slimy. Might try the canned steak though, thanks Y1.

That won't really matter tho,Q.

Once they're married she won't be allowed to eat any of that stuff anymore.

I don't really think I have one.

I like Thai, English, French, Italian, Chinese and Indian dishes (or what passes for them in this country, as I haven't sampled all of those "in situ&quot😉.

I can live without Eastern European cuisine, Mexican is just OK and I don't like Middle-Eastern/ Lebanese/ North African foo AT ALL.

I suppose the dish that I've ordered most often, and enjoyed every time is fairly dull, but relies on the quality of the meat and the correct cooking:

Fillet steak, medium-rare, plus fried.

Delicious.
