Avvy had mentioned dimsum. It is a southern china snack usually eaten at breakfast. Hong Kong is famous for it but it is available where chinese and lovers of chinese food gathers.
This is the siew mai, ground pork wrapped in wantan skin with egg roe steamed.
Char siew pau, bbq pork in sweet dough, steamed. Notice dimsum is usually consumed with chinese tea which is thought to reduce fat! (hah) after stuffing one selve silly during breakfast.
this is the har gau (prawn wrapped in wantan skin) steamed.

these 'snacks' are dipped in chilli sauce, tabasco, mustard and soya sauce
this is chicken feet, steamed soft. called foong jau of phoenix claws.
the variety is endless and the table is usually stacked full like this.
