kebabs are not so popular here but is available if one look hard enough for it, we have our own version call satay (see the thread earlier).

engllish food is bland, but actually what is english food? meat and 2 veg? pie and mash? desserts? roast and chops? steaks and stew? apart from fish & chips.

i like some pub grub though occasionally. i remembered chancing onto a pub in brighton once on a sunday afternoon and had lunch and loved it. forgotten what i ate though.

When you come out the match you cant beat some chips from the chippy

yup, remembered after a match once and my friends and I made a bee line for the chippies.

mind you, the pub in brighton was in the countryside. i do love the english country side. i miss it the most after i left england.

precisely. damn expensive for junk food. how much does a pint of bitter cost now?

About the same in a pub,
dont know about tesco

There used to be a mcdonalds in anfield and at half time it was packed,
but it closed down apparently it didnt get enough business on a non match day

Y1 how hot is pure capsaicin is hotter than a extra strong mint

did not see the pure stuff, never tried it mate. i am fine with cilli padi. enough hot for me.

The hottest thing i have tasted is a extra strong mint

You can get a crate of beer here for about £15 for 24 cans

you aint lived yet friend. hot mint is like an itch while cilli padi is like nothing u have imagined grabbing your tongue. imagine eating white peppercorn multiplied by 100 times

your legit beer is cheaper than our legit beer, i think because of the sin tax imposed here

try topping your steak or chops with white pepper first and see whether you can bear the spicyness.... before you try any dry chilli, freely available at the asian stores in blackpool/brimingham/east london
