Defo. I got a mate who 'rents' his season ticket having a similar argument with the person whose name it's in. I mean it's a no brainer unless you're an utter twat.

Having said that I didn't think for one minute it would be as tight at this for Carling Cup tickets. The last few we played in there were loads.

I joined the queue for Carling Cup Final tickets this morning at 10.00. I walked away from the Ticket Office at 3.15 p.m. with my tickets and my bladder about to explode. Over 5 hours with the thermometer at zero. :🙂

Exactly on the first point. Demand is massive considering previous rounds.

Portly, we just linked our tickets online mate and then bought them. Took about 10 minutes.

Yeah he's in the ballot mate but his tickets on membership cards so ballot only and not guaranteed. Obviously if gets one worry over but this lad sorts out 30-40 tickets a game and the people who own the tickets and cant be arsed going normally relying on this lad to shift them on have called them in for the final and not one has offered him a final. Shithouse trick in my opinion.

It's nice to repay favours old chap and although it may have been smarter to negotiate a way through the online booking system, there's nothing like having the tickets in your hand!

I feel that this episode has given me an appetite to test further my powers of endurance and wonder if anyone will sponsor me if I pull a sled to the North Pole solo. 🙂
