i'm one of the ones who said "post like this more often" because he made a very astute post which deserved recognition. No malice or insults in it either. I posted that as a positive (if no doubt stupidly optimistic) way of coaxing rationality out of him

I understand and respect the mod's rationale for banning Brendan. Anyway I do hope that Brendan comes back at some point in the future.

I also believe as a club we are on an upward trajectory and that will be reflected in the quality of the posts.

I don't second Anita's original post, I'm afraid. The rest of us are as entitled to our views as the mods on here, though we have to accept and do accept that the decision is theirs to take.

I'm guilty of giving Sunny some shit for messing up with the gif thread, even though i agreed in principle with his stand point. But here, i do think that we are over-doing the policing part. But there was certainly no explanation needed, especially when Brendan was given as many warnings...
