Speaking of head-scratching managerial decisions, how about Guardiola not giving Aguero a single minute in the Manchester derby or Mourinho freezing out Mkhitaryan from the squad entirely? This should be more controversial than resting Firmino against Everton.

I watched the game on Sunday and they were talking about Aguero not being included pretty frequently, if City had lost it would have been used as a stick to beat Guardiola with particularly as Jesus was shite. But he got away with it, so nobody is bothered. Mhkitaryan is just the latest in a long line of creative players that Mourinho has fallen out with because he has no interest in playing as an auxiliary full back for 90 mins, nothing new there.
