Atkinson though is a sh!thouse and would have been awful in any era. He chickens out of big decisions whenever he possibly can - it's why we didn't get at least one peno, arguably two, against Leicester. Sometimes his games then degenerate into a flurry of cards as players try to take advantage of his weakness. I agree with Hal about him - it's scandalous that he's got to the upper reaches of the game.
