We have a game in hand..
Not a problem...
Not a problem...
It’s still in our hands.
Evrton actually played alright, 2-0 probably flattered City but it makes no odds now as they are back on top. We need a response against Bournemouth, it feels like the next couple of games will define the rest of our season.
I prefer points in hand rather than games in hand. Come on you Redssss. We need to win again and not draw. God forbid that we lose.
Well that's a lovely positive thought to start the day with. Its just got a horrible feeling about it, a dark black cloud gathering around us that we cant do anything about.
Stop that talk, or you may find a load of us walking out the tent accusing you of shagging our birdIts just got a horrible feeling about it, a dark black cloud gathering around us that we cant do anything about.
Actually yes it would with the 2nd best home record in the PL of this season of 10-2-0 (32-7) and Bournemouth with the 5th worst away record of 3-0-9 (12-27). But don't let that spoil your rhetoric.Tonight's result wasn't unexpected.
Us slipping up against Bournemouth wouldn't be unthinkable either.
...........The issue then being that it looks like Fabinho, Milner & Keita are all naturally inclined/best suited, to play almost exactly the same position, but hopefully we'll either have Gini or Hendo back too.
I dont mean the Bournemouth game. It just feels like we have let City off the hook.Well that's a lovely positive thought to start the day with.
Matches the weather at least!
I'm not overly worried about Bournemouth.
I'm pretty sure he'll play Camacho, cos he won't have an Anderson to worry about against them, & I'm convinced that's the only reason he didn't play him on Monday.
That change alone will give us a decent chance of sorting the midfield, as Milner & Fabinho will be available for it.

I struggle to believe that Firmino, Salah, Robbo, & VVD will all be below par for the third game running, maybe one or two of them, but not all four of them.
Spurs have done an unprecedented job of not drawing games! It's utterly bizarre that they haven't drawn even once.View attachment 1283
Draws kill. ONE defeat and still not out of sight. Spurs and City have done a far better job of not drawing games.
Yeah probably be over in May.Spurs have done an unprecedented job of not drawing games! It's utterly bizarre that they haven't drawn even once.
I just don't see citeh not losing one or two more games though, everyone had said all season that they won't get beaten & they have done.
There's no way they get through a period of playing in four competitions without slipping up, just can't see it at all.
This isn't over yet, & I don't think it will be for quite a while.
We’ll win it by beating Newcastle in our penultimate fixture of the season.
You could definitely suggest that if you wanted to ignore the fact that four of the five draws we were leading in and conceeded an equaliser in the second half.Could also suggest we've done a good job of turning 3 defeats into draws, thus having a 3 point lead.. but hey ho. I get the point conversely (turned a win into a draw etc.)
